Founders

Brian Martin

     Brian, a native of Bermuda has played soccer at all youth levels. He has an extensive background in working in the local community. He is a founder and current board member of the Maryland Rockets, and a board member of Calvert Memorial Hospital (CMH).  Brian has coached multiple levels of soccer including his current position as Varsity Assistant Coach/Goalkeeper Coach at Huntingtown High School.

Charlie Russell 

     Charlie  played at UMBC.  He has coached several teams at several levels within Calvert County including rec, rec plus and travel.  He currently holds the USSF National D license, NSCAA Advanced National license, US Youth Soccer National License as well as national  certification from NFHS.  Charlie is currently the head varsity coach at Huntingtown  High School and leads the CSA Rec Academy.

Directors

Dennis Brown

     Dennis is the founder of Bermuda's Brazilian Football School.  He was the youngest player in Bermuda history to win Most Valuable Player before the age of 21.  He was a member of the senior national team at the age of 16 until retirement at age 28.  He holds several coaching licenses including the UEFA B license and is the current Bermuda National Team Coach for the Men's U17 team.

Calvin Blankenthal

     Calvin played soccer at all youth levels and was a member of the  Bermuda Football Association National Youth teams from ages 14-19.  His international coaching experience has seen him receive various certificates and accreditations including:  Bermuda Football Association Youth Director, UEFA B License, English FA Coaching License, Coerver Skills Youth Diploma Certified Coach, CONCACAF Certified technical analyst and has attended two FIFA congresses and two FIFA World Cups.  He also led BBFS teams on tours to Holland (AJAX), Germany (Bayern Leverkusen) and England (Chelsea).

Jimmy Wojciechowski(Wojo)

Jimmy has been involved in youth sports for over a decade.  He has held the President position for the Travel and Rec Plus division for CSA.  He is the current  varsity coach as well as the JV boys lacrosse coach for Calvert High School.  Jimmy holds a USSF D license as well as national certification from NHFS.

John Erly

     John played at the Dickinson College.  He is currently working on his USSF D license and coaches at the club level for Calvert Soccer Association.

Coaching Staff

Clyde Best

     Clyde played 218 games and registered 58 goals for West Ham United in the English First Division. He continued to play professionally in Holland an then in the North American Soccer League for the Tampa Bay Rowdies, Portland Timbers and Toronto Blizzard. After his playing career, he served as an assistant coach for the San Diego Sockers and as head coach for the Bermuda Senior Men's National team

Tony Faticoni

     Currently the head coach at Pfeiffer University, Tony has experienced a tremendous amount of success in the college game.  As Assistant Coach at Pfeiffer he helped lead the Falcons to the Division II National Championship.  As the head coach at Centenary College, his team won the National Small College Association of America National Title.  As Assistant Coach at Rutgers University, he helped lead the Scarlet Knights to the Final Four.  During his playing career Tony played goalkeeper for Philadelphia Textile where he helped the team to two appearances in the NCAA final 16.  He holds several coaching licenses including the USSF B and has a degree in Exercise Science and Sport Studies.

Jason Boxx

Jason is the Coordinator of the D.C. United Residential program as well as the U12 Academy head coach.  He graduated with a B.S. in Sports management from the State University of New York at Cortland.  He holds coaching licenses from the USSF and the FA.  Jason played for the University of West Alabama.

Leroy Wilson

     Leroy played for the Dandy Football Club in Bermuda.  He has an extensive coaching resume spanning 34 years.  He has won every domestic cup competition in Bermuda as either a player or coach.  In addition to Bermuda he has coached in the USA, Jamaica and Antiqua.  He is a certified Physical Fitness trainer and holds several soccer coaching licenses including an English FA International Coaching license.

Dashun Cooper

     Dashun is a UEFA, NSCAA and English FA certified Goalkeeper coach who is currently the Head of Academy Goalkeeping with the Bermuda FA and the ABC Football School.  He plays in the Premier Division in Bermuda and represents his country on the Senior Men's National Team.  Highlights with the Bermuda FA include qualifying for the CONCACAF Championships with the U20 Men's National Team and the U-17 Women's National Team.

Jensen Rogers
     
     Jensen has played in the Premier Division in Bermuda for the past 13 years.  During that time he has been part of First Division Championship teams and has received several individual awards.  He also has extensive youth coaching experience working with players from U8 to U15.  Jensen holds a UEFA C coaching license.

Kody Slayton

Kody has a B.S. in Sports Management from Towson Univiversity.  He assisted with the D.C. United U23 PDL as well as other youth academy teams.  While interning with the U.S. Naval Academy, he assisted in marketing, promotions and game day operations.  Most recently, Kody help lead the CSA Rec Academy.  

Mark Mohn - Youth Camp

     Mark has coached both boys and girls travel teams within CSA including teams that went on to compete at the Futsal Nationals.  He holds a USSF National D license as well as a NSCAA Goalkeeper 1 diploma.  Mark is also a coach for the Huntingtown boys soccer program.
